Commercial raw food for dogs is a new category in the market in Singapore. So I’m pretty happy to find out more about it.

Donna the mongrel and Cookie the Japanese Spitz visited the DBS Marina Regatta 2015 over the weekend. The event was held at The Promontory @ Marina Bay.
The weather was really hot! But I was also having a great time capturing the dogs’ first trip to a dog-friendly human event. :P
Two weeks ago, I got to attend an Urban Farming Workshop conducted by social enterprise Edible Garden City, hosted by DBS Bank as part of their run-up to this year’s DBS Marina Regatta 2015. I heard about the event via @sgig
With both the DBS Marina Regatta 2015 and Pet Asia 2015 both happening in town this weekend, there’s no way we will stay away!

Let’s dispel some food and allergy myths
I had the pleasure of listening to Dr. Simon Quek BSc. BVMS MRCVS. at the Pet Expo recently. He was there to give a talk on Environmental and Food Allergies for Dogs. I am also privileged to be able to consult with Dr Joanna Paul, a small animal veterinarian in Melbourne, Australia. She runs the blog – Creature Clinic. ;)

The Eng Kong Terrace row of shophouses is a pretty nice place to take a quick stroll and have a cake and coffee, especially if you are a dog lover.
Here’s why.
Dog dry food. Probably the first food that any new pet parent will be giving to your new dog. I know, because that’s what I gave Donna right at the start. A gift pack of dog kibble from the shelter we adopted her from.
It’s convenient and affordable and it promises to fulfil your dog’s complete nutritional needs. But with so many brands on the market, how do you choose?
We are Kong fans over here, and already own the Kong Extreme (for tough chewers) and the Kong Genius Leo (which, by the way, makes my dog look stupid :P)
So I was pretty happy to see the Kong Satellite toy in the parcel sent by Earnest Mutts Online Store to Donna.
We went to Tanjong Beach, Sentosa in January with Some White Cookie, the following week after Donna’s Gotcha Day. It was a great way to celebrate the human’s birthday. I was the magnet for dogs because I brought sardines!!! :P We didn’t take a lot of photos, and here’s the lot of them.
