Dogwalking, Bright light, Harsh shadows

Today, the Arian Ox was in the mood to explore and lead the nomadic life. She led the walk out of the park, across the overhead bridge and into an adjoining neighbourhood across the road. And then, the “pack leader” couldn’t make up her mind where to go from there.

There she is standing quietly in the big courtyard. Nevermind, let’s take you where you can wrap yourself around a tree.

You’re welcome.

  1. Sounds like a nice walk. The black & white photos are gorgeous!

    • It was but it was hot too and I was like, I want to go home, and she was like, let’s go this way away from the home direction. But the detour generated these photos, lucky! Though I would be happy as well to skip the meandering and get out of the sun!

  2. Love the photos (and your dog is so cute!)

  3. Morning Donna. Like the shot of that tree. Have a great Sunday.

  4. That’s a neat overhead bridge. Have a FUN Sunday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  5. I’d love a walk like that! Lots of different things to see, feel, and smell! :)

  6. No walk is complete until you’ve wrapped yourself around a tree!

  7. Pam

Ooh, these are fantastic B&Ws! Love all the heavy contrast! And I see you’re checking for messages at the tree before leaving one of your own :)

  8. I see Donna also loves her “tree mail”. Sometimes Simba have a lot of catching up to do regarding his tree-mail and some are just Facebook statuses. He hates FB just as much as I do and he just sniffs them and walks on. :D
Great shots as usual and give the Arian Ox a big hugs from me and Sima and please ask her to give you lots of hugs as well. :D xxx

    • Donna has similar habits to Simba, except perhaps she’s a little slow in the reading “tree mail” department, she takes a long time doing it at each and every tree! :P

      • Maybe it was long, overdue mails. We get that here as well..hahaha. It could have been WordPres blog posts as well you know, with lots of photo’s! LOL!

        • Haha, maybe :P though if she stops sniffing so long, there will be less photos of her sniffing trees. Hah!

  9. Hi Donna, nice to meet you.

  10. Isn’t it fun to take our humans on their daily walks? I just love setting the pace and deciding where we’ll go. ;-)

  11. I love tree sniffing too!

  12. You have a courtyard where you live? Cool.
