First off, many apologies for missing the MBPOTW posts for the last few weeks. Sometimes a person just needs some downtime, but I should have left a note or something to give you guys a heads up. I did not, and that is just not cool.
Despite that, I am blown away by the dedication that you have to the concept of consistently going through your weekly photos and reviewing them. I have much to learn!
And so I present, albeit belatedly, the submissions for the last few weeks:
My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – WEEK 18 (18-25 Dec)
Clockwise from top left,
1) The Wey Bridge, http://looneyatoms.com/
2) Above the sun, under the tree, http://completelydisappear.wordpress.com/
3) Merry Xmas, http://1stworlddog.com/
4) Untitled, http://irenewaters19.com/
Interestingly, three of the photos have water as the common theme here. Love the variety and the different mood and vibe in the results. And getting into the spirit of the season, Bodhi and the toddler spread some Xmas cheer :)
My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – WEEK 19 (25-1 Jan)
1) All about jumping, http://1stworlddog.com/
2) Christmas day with BFF and her family, http://lingeringvisions.wordpress.com/
Setting up the contrast, a shot of quiet family time and an action shot of Bodhi jumping into a pool. I think both are effective in emotive in their own ways :)
My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – WEEK 20 (1-8 Jan)
1) My brag shot, http://1stworlddog.com/
2) I’ll catch up to you later, http://lingeringvisions.wordpress.com/
Two photos that illustrate a process, lingeringvisions with a photo submitted to a voting contest and 1stworlddog with a brag shot of passing the qualifier. Well done for putting yourself into the spirit of competition!
My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – WEEK 21 (8-15 Jan)
1) Those eyebrows, http://1stworlddog.com/
2) Untitled, http://lingeringvisions.wordpress.com/
Regardless of dog or human, sometimes we do need the downtime, so don’t berate yourself if the going gets tough. Get rested, and stay focused on the future. That’s a pep talk to myself as well! Hah!
This challenge celebrates your best picture of the week. It may be a picture which you feel shows your focus in particular types or formats of photography. It may be a simple image that shares your the first snow. It may be a new tool you are trying out. Whatever it is, it is a picture that you feel is that best/most interesting photo you have taken/edited for the week and which you would love to feature again.
Welcome to My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – Week22. This will be the last challenge of the set started in 2013.
This challenge has ended and you can view the submitted photos on the Week 23 MBPOTW post.

I saw Finale and thought you were ending the challenge. Glad to see you are not.
