My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – WEEK 23 (Finale)

LAST WEEK’S ENTRIES: My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – WEEK 22 (15-22 Jan)

Weliveinaflat | Few things about this image I thought interesting to point out – the soft colours, the vulnerable posture of a dog having fun in a safe environment, the fact that this photo I had missed in an edit a few months back. Coming back to it now, it seems the colour editing and turning it upside down made it work. I had posted two version of it on Instagram, this and one that is right side up, and this picture got close to double the number of likes compared to the original. 1stworlddog |  You can’t see their faces, but doesn’t this picture make you wonder what secrets they are sharing under there anyway? Click to see the full image with the accompanying blurb.

Welcome to My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – Week23 (Finale). This will be the last challenge of the set started in 2013.

We will then restart for the challenge from Week 1 in February and be more consistent from there.

But right now, let’s talk about week 23. For this week, I would like for you to sift through all photos of the previous weeks that you have participated and identify your best photo out of the lot. You can opt to publish just one photo that you deem is your personal best, or you can choose to publish a new photo if you think the new photo fits the theme of your personal best shot for 2013 better.

You may opt to include a couple more to discuss the runner up photos, if you think it adds interest to your post. To make a collage of your photos, try Pixlr – http://pixlr.com/express/ – which is the online application that I have been using to make the photo collages for the MBPOTW posts for the past weeks. Or you can use the existing photo tile gallery features on wordpress or other blogging platforms, where available.

The point is that you now have a gallery or body of pictures that shows your progress through the weeks, and something that you can look back fondly on or be proud of, or even nitpick, if you persist to be critical of yourself :P Regardless, it is a pool of work that you have more or less consistently upkeep and this is one last review, before we start afresh for 2014.

I thank you once again for joining this challenge and hope to see you next week for your best for 2013. :)

Meanwhile, here are the current photos of the week 22-29 Jan:

  1. That is my photo of the sheep. Your link goes to Irene’s BPOTW, but the sheep is mine :)

  2. Looking forward to seeing what Feb brings :o)

  3. I love the one of Donna on her back. The subdued colors have a nice effect. Besides, who can resist a cute doggy tummy waiting for a belly rub?

    • She doesn’t often do that… but she has recently gained a better appreciation that rolling on her back may get her more treats! :P
