My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – week 6

LAST WEEK’S ENTRIES: My Best Photo of the Week (MBPOTW) Challenge – WEEK 5 (18 – 25 Sep)

Pictures are cropped, please visit the original post (links below) to view the full pictures with the photographer’s original thoughts on them :)
Left: Sunset on the run, completelydisappear.wordpress.com
Centre: How could you say no to this face?, 1stworlddog.wordpress.com
Right: A third black, two thirds white, www.weliveinaflat.com

It seems we all worked on something we were not too familiar with.

Completely Disappear practiced working on shutter speed while taking pictures on a moving vehicle. Bodhi the first world dog got his picture converted to black and white, rather than his usual colour shots of his beautiful coat. I was pretty much trying to apply the rule of thirds, and sometimes breaking it, when taking shots of Donna in a crate.

You can read more about each picture by clicking on the links above and visiting the specific pages that provide a little description of the pictures and why it is special for the authors :)

This challenge celebrates your best picture of the week. It may be a picture which you feel shows your technical skills improving. It may be a simple image that just shows you thoughts about the turn in seasons. It may be a quick snaps of something in the street that caught your eye. Whatever it is, it is a picture that you feel is that best photo you have taken/edited for the week and which you would love to feature again.
