I continue to be happy to see a good mix of photographs with different intent. :)

Probably the image with the strongest intent last week would be Michelle’s (Hope the Happy Hugger) Do you think it’s too much? (pic #2).

I thought Dawn’s An American Japanese Garden provides an interesting comparison to Hope’s image. Say ‘Japanese Garden’ and my mind was quick to associate it to zen gardens, but a quick check on wiki informs me that like everything else, Japanese gardens have their own numbers of styles and historical/cultural influences as well.

Follow the flow of the Japanese Garden stream and admire the view of a different river and the scenic converted historical buildings at Thames Lock, mirrored in the water. Lovely, isn’t it? Drop by to learn more about the area from Barbara (looneyatoms.com)

Still outdoors, Cooper (2catsandacattledog) and Bodhi’s (1stworlddog) humans were pushing photography boundaries with sticker and painting effects on different apps. There is no limit to creativity with pet portraits!

Last but not least, completelydisappear and weliveinaflat’s captures reflect the fleeting moments of life whether in the sky or at home. The former romantic in terms of the colour treatment, the latter aiming for a lighthearted mood.

Go ahead and click on the links above to see the pictures in their actual scale. The photographers will have more detail what they did at the point of taking the picture and their thoughts about the photo. Thank you for sharing :)

This challenge celebrates your best picture of the week. It may be a picture which you feel shows your focus in particular types or formats of photography. It may be a simple image that shares your the first snow. It may be a new tool you are trying out. Whatever it is, it is a picture that you feel is that best/most interesting photo you have taken/edited for the week and which you would love to feature again.
