Tired of the same old route around the neighbourhood? Why not get out of your neighbourhood and brighten up that regular evening walk at one of the following Christmas Light Up spots around the island. :)
1. Christmas Wonderland, Gardens by the Bay
The Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay can get crowded, and that just shows what a magical experience this attraction is. Dogs on leash are allowed in the public outdoor areas, but extra care is necessary to make sure dog is not accidentally stepped on or frightened by the crowd. So this place may work better for small dogs that can be carried or be put in a stroller or larger dogs that are lighter in colour and very visible.
We had fun checking out the Christmas Village as well as the “blizzard” show and Luminarie light sculptures last year. The regular Garden Rhapsody light show has also been updated to the Christmas edition and that is well-worth seeing too. Check out the other highlights for humans here.

3. Orchard Road Light Up
The Orchard Road Christmas Light Up is not new. From mid November to early January, see mall light ups, glittering lights drip from towering trees and lighted arches spanning across Orchard Road from Tanglin Mall to Plaza Singapura.
Malls vying for the Best Dressed Building contest (Nov 20 to Dec 5) include ION Orchard, Orchardgateway, Paragon and Wheelock Place among 8 entries. So these may be worth checking out.
It can be daunting, so we’ve never actually made it there with Donna. But if you are keen to try, check out the five spots these dogs went to last year for their recommended timings and advice!

Small, you haven’t seen where we live. No stop lights, no stores-just wide open spaces.
