First thing first, we did not set out to get blue shoes for Baby P’s first baby walking shoes and all his other shoes that came after that. But because baby P had rather large feet for his age and other specific considerations I had which I will elaborate in this post, we somehow ended up with this spread of entirely blue pairs of shoes that you see in the photo. Oh well.
So, about baby shoes, we start by understanding that:
Some pet parents prefer specific brands of pet probiotic gel. I researched and found that different yogurt brands can have different sets of life cultures. So I wondered if this may be the same case for pet probiotic gel. Here’s what I found out from two different tubes of probiotic gel for pets that I got from the vet. Both dogs and cats can use these probiotic gel.
A long time ago, I ordered photo magnets for Christmas from a company called Sticky9. It was so long ago in fact, that Sticky9 the company is no longer in existence! Hah!
That aside, the company lets you order custom square photo magnets in groups of 9. Hence the name Sitcky9.
The square magnets were convenient because they allowed you to print Instagram photos onto these magnets. Which also means you can conveniently ignore copyright restrictions to print other people’s Instagram photos on magnets for your personal use. Oops!
I’m writing this post now because it’s time to part with our old beat up Casetify cases that Mr P and I have been using with our previous mobile phones. So what better time to do a Casetify review? :P
Casetify is not a new brand. It’s been around about 8 years it seems. And it’s one of the brands I like because it lets me customise my handphone case with Donna’s photo.
We’ve used these cases for at least 2 years, maybe more. (Can’t really remember.) Take a look at how chipped the original printed design has become!

Little P started to join Donna on our morning walks when he was past 6.5 months old. Prior to this, he was happy enough getting some outdoor time on our balcony.

A few factors prompted the beginning of our morning walks:
Donna has been using her Neater Feeder for 4 years now (original review here or you can watch this video right below). The feeder kept the floor dry and served us well so I really didn’t see the need to change it. (Although a friend who bought a new bowl for Donna was rather disappointed that we didn’t use it to feed Donna. Oops!)

Anyway, the plastic body is really durable (plastic takes a 1000 years to decompose in landfills after all) so we’ll keep using it as long as it is in good condition. The stainless steel bowls on the other hand were not faring so well. So I definitely wanted them changed.
Now comes the problem.

It’s boring eating the same food all the time. Here at weliveinaflat, we believe in switching things up by rotating brands and rotating proteins! We saw an increase in Canadian dog food brands in the market in 2017. So I’m happy to check out a new dry food brand that launched early 2018. Let’s take a look at Nutram’s Total Grain-free food! This food has a 5 star rating on Dog Food Advisor.
In my few short years as a person with a dog, I’ve not come across a local collaboration between a pet retailer with the celebrity/fashion world yet. (Maybe I’m just ignorant :P) So the Good Dog People x Daniel Boey “Good Dogs & People” show was the first for me.
Even so, I didn’t volunteer Donna to be a runway model because I wasn’t going to be at the Pet Expo today (Saturday) since I already had a baby shower to go to.
And also because I couldn’t guarantee that Donna would enjoy such an experience. If you remember my previous post on enrichment experiences at the Pet Expo with your dog, I quoted that Enrichment is all about making your pet and your life enjoyable. This is definitely something I believe in.
With so many dog bakery and treat shops around, how do you choose?
On these page I have listed those bakeries that have been in business for nearly 3 years or more. Followed by the new ones that I have more recently discovered. I guess the longest surviving ones may be more credible and with more reliable service if that’s what you are looking for. ;)
But if you are more adventurous, check out the new ones and you may just find a new favourite to order from ;)
