We didn’t train her to do this but perhaps because she knows she is not allowed in the bedroom, so she stepped into the room to deliver her toy as a play invitation before stepping back to sit “respectfully” outside the door.
I was quite amused when she did that. XD She doesn’t always do it of course. :P

Cute – our Sally used to do that to when my husband was washing up in the bathroom – she’d toss her toy in the room and then back up and wait for him to toss it.

I used to read that dog’s have their individual characters but it is also interesting how the same behaviours can manifest naturally by themselves regardless of geography like in Sally and Donna! That is most adorable! What a good girl! A friend of mine trained her dog to stay out of the kitchen. If he put a paw in, all she had to do was calmly say “Shane, you know you’re not allowed in the kitchen,” and he would politely back out. Love it!

I am so impressed with Donna’s politeness and cleverness! Frankie and Beryl have the run of the house although we do have a few rules … just don’t ask me what they are, I can’t remember! Beryl would be shocked and horrified to think she wasn’t allowed somewhere and Frankie would be very hurt!
