Phoneography weekly: Creepy Crawlies

Phoneography Monday Challenge: Macro
Apps used: Camera+, Snapseed, VSCOcam, Moldiv

I’m not sure whether these are caterpillars or not but they were flourishing in the garden downstairs. These might be the yellow spotted millipede. Normally, Donna and I just walk past them but the other day I thought I would try taking pictures.

It was then that I really started seeing them. And what I saw was greatly amusing.

Do I like you? No, not really.

I don’t mind if you clamber on.

Sorry, no room for a third party!

What selfish creeps…, muttered the lone crawler.

  1. You did a terrific job of capturing these small creates. You made an excellent point that you really got to see them as you took their images. I think that they become less creepy and more interesting as I view them. I do not think that they are caterpillars. Nicely captured. Happy Phoneography Monday.

  2. What fun! I like caterpillars but the many-legged things we mostly see are millipedes, which I detest and kill whenever possible! :-)

They are gorgeous, and great pics too! We have an African Giant Millipede as a pet, named Julius! :)

  5. It appears that they are harmless if left alone-no problem.

    • Yep!! That’s so. Some dogs may not leave bugs alone though. I know a chihuahua puppy that loves to hunt cockroaches!

  6. Wow! Excellent job Donna, they look so clear!! Think they might be millipedes :)
