Worm into the bedroom mission continues

Three weeks ago…

Last night…

Time, has not made a difference to her persistence in the mission :P

“Go to your bed” or crate/kennel cues are so useful in this case :P

It hadn’t occurred to me until now but it is dangerous for any animal to hang around the door frame, especially in our case since we live on high floors with crazy winds that sometimes slam doors really hard. In this case, we had the bedroom balcony door closed which shuts off the wind. Normally we do keep the door securely hooked to the wall, and not ajar.

  1. LOL! She makes a lovely ‘worm’. Cute Donna and lovely shots Mrs. P. Love the captions..hehehe
    *big hugs*

  2. “Don’t mind me. Just thought you might need a door stop”, that’s so like my dog too! Hahaha… :D

    • Must be the doggy overmind!!! :O Thank you for dropping by and sharing this tit-bit about your dog :) Have a great day!

  3. She will never give up…might as well give in ;)

  4. Securing one’s house for a dog or cat is a lot like making it safe for a small child. One of my cats is a master cabinet and drawer opener, so I have to be aware of what’s in these places that might harm him. The other cat is a master escape artist, so I have to be aware of where he’s at any time I have the outside doors open to talk with someone delivering a package, or so on, because he slips outside like the ninja cat he is! LOL! Fortunately, he doesn’t go very far because there’s too much to sniff and check out.

    • “too much to sniff and check out” sounds very dog-ish :P Shhh, don’t tell ninja cat that! Have a great day weggieboy ;)

  5. Oh, how adorable and cunning.

That last one made me laugh. You can’t blame her. She wants to be near you. I admire her tenacity. Go Donna Go!

    • Nope, not blaming her at all :) She is very sweet and we love her to bits but no third party in the bedroom, sorry! :P

  7. Good luck Donna! Frankie and Beryl both slept in a crate for the first year I had them (I had Frankie a bit over a year before I got Beryl) both of them now sleep on the bed with me. And I have to admit I enjoy their company :)

    • Thank for rooting for Donna in this dog vs human tussle. May the best animal win! :P And glad Frankie and Beryl are good company for you :)

  8. Hehehe it’s so funny! Whee love those captions ^_^ Got to follow you now!

  9. Love this doggy mission! I wish her the ultimate success… to the human bed!

  10. Sneaky – Donna’s a honorary human so just wants to be with the pack. We found another child gate on the weekend and have used it to bar Ruby from going upstairs. Need her to understand she doesn’t have the run of the house when we’re out!

    • Oh yes, the child-gate is the most effective way for us to keep Donna out of the kitchen too when we are out. Just make sure it is securely locked, ours stopped clicking shut by itself after a couple of months of use so Donna can still push through if we forget to make sure it clicked and locked! :P As for the toher areas, we just close the doors when we go out but that’s cos we don’t have the luxury of a bigger living space/second floor to contend with :P hee :D Ruby knows how to enjoy the comforts of home when the human is out and not around to prevent/deprive her from/of it :P

  11. Careful Donna. You don’t want that door to slam on your nose!

    • OH yes, she should pick up her ears and mark your words!! But she has floppy ears – – Have a great week ahead!
