What’s new with Weliveinaflat – an update on life changes

We Live In A Flat blog started two months after we adopted Donna in January 2013, so about 6 years ago. Choosing a name for the blog wasn’t easy but I eventually settled on this clunky name of We Live In A Flat. 😅

There wasn’t Project Adore then, but dogs within a certain height and weight limit can get AVA-licensed and HDB-approved individually. It was just that there wasn’t as clear a process as now.

Therefore, We Live In A Flat started as an online documentation of what we were doing with Donna. How we were training and assimilating her into the dense flatted environment that most of us live in in Singapore. It was a precaution just in case some random neighbour complained, we would have all these online documentation as proof of Donna being a good dog. 😁 And also I thought it’s a good showcase of how a medium mongrel dog like her can thrive in a flat.

Life Changes

Six years on, we’re now expecting a child and making minor updates to the flat. There are so many things I thought would be interesting to share. Simply because when I google-ed for my own information, I couldn’t find what I was looking for or I discover new things I never knew before.

So moving on We Live In A Flat will continue to grow into more of a lifestyle blog, with articles not just about dogs, but also on home-related topics pertaining to the flat, and maybe even about pregnancy for now. Donna may not feature largely in these non-dog related blog posts, but I’m sure she will still model for one or two pics for dog tax. 😉 So while some articles may not directly address dog issues and content, they will still show to other readers looking for home-related or baby-related content that a Singapore Special can integrate and thrive in a Singapore flat and with a small family with a kid.

And I still intend to continue with Mutt Vlog on Youtube. Simply because I have many pictures of Donna but when I look back at all her videos like this one below, they make me smile even more.

But to be realistic, updates will likely continue to be irregular right now. We do have a baby on the way. 😝 I thank you for your warm wishes and kind regard of my dog, my blog and our family. 😊

  1. Fantastic review! Thanks

  2. You do what you have to do. I’m glad you phrased the caption on the picture correctly “With Donna, perhaps 25, 26 weeks pregnant” and not “25, 26 weeks pregnant with Donna”.

  3. Glad to see you still hanging in the blog land!! Out blogs have lasted the distance. Good kuch with the upcoming parenting!!
