Paw Plunger & other goods for a doggy Xmas

amazon-black-friday-xmas-doHohoho, talk about being a shopaholic these few weeks. :P November is interesting with the Taobao Double 11, followed by Black Friday/Cyber Monday end of the month.

Did you know that you can enjoy FREE AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping when you shop $125 or more?  Here’s some of the stuff available on Amazon that I found interesting.

Keep Clean

I currently wipe her paws with Essential baby wipes from Cold Storage. It’s alcohol, fragrance and paraben-free. But when she tracks in dirt and mud, I can use quite a few pieces at a go. Cleaning with water at the door is going to be messy so the concept of these paw washing products below is interesting.

Paw Plunger for Dogs, Medium – Black $19.90
The Paw Plunger has gentle bristles that help remove dirt and grime from your dog’s paws. Simply fill Paw Plunger with water. Place the paw one at a time in the Paw Plunger to clean them. Voted Best Dog Product Of 2012 by Blogpaws.com  Youtube video

SKI Innovations Paw Boss Wash for Dogs $29.99
Paw Boss is a brand new patented paw washing device designed to “soap and soak” every paw with fresh clean soapy water. Insert your dog’s paws in the paw washing cup and completely submerge that dirty paw back and forth over the soft finger-like cleaning pad to remove the mud, dirt, germs & allergens. Proven (with the use of antibacterial soap) to remove 99.5% of the bacteria and 99.9% of the fungi. Wash 4-8 paws before you refill again. Youtube video

Get festive

New York Dog Ugly Holiday Sweater for Pets, Navy Snowman and Dog, all sizes $14.99
I never thought a sweater will be relevant to our hot climate until the recent haze episode. I had Donna sleep in an air-conditioned room with us, and she didn’t like the cold. So this could be a cheery item for short hair dogs who like to keep warm in an air-conditioned environment!

Different designs available but I thought the Snowman and Dog design is the cutest.

California Costume Collections Elf Pup Dog Costume, all sizes $14-$25
I’m actually digging this grumpy dog’s expression more than the costume. :P But he looks cute in it, so that says something about the costume. :P

If you are a fan of costumes that transform your four-legged pooch into a silly biped, this is one to consider for the holidays. ;)

Stay Safe

Luxepets Pet Collar Charm, Guardian Angel Dog, Pink $13
A pretty charm that comes with a prayer, this lead-free zinc alloy tag can be engraved on the back to double up as a pet ID tag. Also comes in blue colour and gold, silver and antique metal finish options.

Size 7/8 inch (23mm)

Rubit The Easy Dog Tag Curve Shape Switch Clip, Medium, 1.07-Inch Diameter, Silver $6
The Rubit (roo’-bit’) Dog Tag Clip lets you easily move your dog’s tags between different collars, without removing the tags from their ring. Useful for dogs with many collars to switch around. Holds up to 80lbs of pressure. Available in 3 sizes and various colours.  Youtube video

Chuckit! Indoor Ball, $6.31
The Chuckit! Indoor Ball is made from textured chenille fabric that is ideal for small dogs and puppies. It has Bounceflex Core technology which makes it soft and light and gentle on the decor. This 4.7inch ball is not a chew toy, but it is great for playing fetch when it’s too wet or cold to go outside.  It’s also the #1 best seller in the Dog Toys category on Amazon.See Youtube video

Nylabone Giant Original Flavored Ring Bone Dog Chew Toy $7.33
Nylabone DuraChew toys are made last for strong chewers.

This is a large chew bone for medium and large dogs up to 50-pounds, and is the #1 Bestseller in the Dog Chew Toys category on Amazon.

PetSafe Busy Buddy Tug-A-Jug Meal Dispensing Dog Toy, Medium/Large, $9.69
The perfect gift for Donna, who loves food and tug. Haha!

The Busy Buddy Tug-A-Jug is designed to stimulate your dog’s sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste during interactive play. He can see and smell the treats and hear them rattle in the bottle. I’m thinking it might get messy if we’re tugging with kibble in it at the same time :PPP Watch out! Flying kibble!!!

This toy is #2 in the Dog Rope Toys category on Amazon. Youtube video

  1. I am curious about those paw washing devices but for a small dog that can be hauled up into the sink easily, it just might be easier!

  2. Those are great gift ideas. I bought an outside chuck-it for the dogs least Christmas. So much fun! Thanks for joining the hop!

    • Donna’s interest in balls and toys outside is passing. Wish she enjoyed her toys more… the only ones she go back to time and time again are the food toys hahahaha! :P

  3. Thanks for sharing these awesome items on the blog hop! Lots of great products and gift ideas here. I had no idea about the ‘refined shipping’ boxes, but it’s good to know.

    • I didn’t realise those “refined shipping” boxes were there until recently myself!! :P But it’s interesting to browse through Amazon now and then because of the products I’ve not heard before like the paw cleaning equipment :P

  4. Hi Y’all!

There are some fab ideas for Christmas on that list! Can’t wait to tell my Human!
