We live in a flat

Many Adults, 1 Boy & 1 Dog's Montessori Life in a Singapore flat

A dog’s job is to eat, sleep and play everyday…. Everyday.

Why so happy?

Because we get to play fetch…

And then we play tug…

All with a simple $2 rope toy from Daiso. Cheap thrill, yah!

And yes, we play the same thing everyday and she looks like this. : )

I used to be apprehensive playing tug with the rope toy. She can be rather rough with her toys as you can see in this video.

But turns out Donna is quite good with the soft mouth thing… and no, not trained by us. Someone in the shelter must have done a good job playing with her. :P She did play bite me before, but she just had some part of my hand in her mouth without actually biting it.

Anyway, it took me quite a while to get the hang of taking pictures while playing with her, phew. I used Gorillacam and later switched to Camera+. The shots of her running down the corridor turn out clearer with Gorillacam though. Whoever would have thought that we would end up taking so many pictures using the corridor as a runway. The downlights here can make lighting a challenge though, depending on where the dog was relative to the downlight.

  1. That is their job indeed…and to keep us busy too. That is part of their jobs as well. heheheheh. Lovely photo’s of one happy girl. Simba is also so rough on his toys and I had to sew quite a lot of teddies in his time. :D

    • They do keep us busy!! TOO busy!! :P I have a backlog of toys I have squirreled away somewhere waiting to be mended. – – Think they will stay there for a while. Hah! Hope Simba is all better and have the time of his life… er… keeping you busy in a good way ; )

  2. Don’t you just know it!! And only we are good at our jobs!

  3. Wow! A blessed day!

    • Oh yes, but sometimes a bit *cough* repetitive *cough* for us. :P You have a good day yourself please!! ; )

  4. What a happy dog. Tug beats doing bicep curls any day of the week. And I know what you mean about the lighting being tricky. A sunny day makes photos that much easier, unless you’re like me and forget you have a shadow.

    • Happiness is a precious commodity. And yes! I wear out sooner than the dog when it comes to tug although I don’t know about the biceps part. *ignores flabby biceps*. Outdoors trumps indoors any time, since I’m typically just pointing and shooting with my phone. I’m sure I’ve forgotten my shadow before… bet we all do at some point! I love your photos! <33… I mean the photos you took. :P
