Donna’s home tour of the flat

Welcome Friends! Today Donna will take you on a home tour!

Right now you stand at the entry way.

This is an exciting area for Donna because when the door is opened, Donna gets to go to exciting places… or sometimes the doorbell rings and Donna has important things to sniff out at the door.

But come in, come in. Donna lives in the biggest room in the flat – the living room. :D

The living room is filled with pointless things that Donna doesn’t need, like the TV, pictures and the noisy air cooler.

But the living room is also filled with necessary things, like Donna’s toys and Donna’s dining room.

Donna eats all her meals in the crate. Sometimes, Donna will go in and fish around for food… sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

Mostly, you can find Donna on the tile floor, where it is cooler.

While it is very pleasant to spread oneself out in the middle of the floor, Donna is sometimes wistful and hopes the human will learn to walk by the side rather than trying to make a big step over Donna. You see, sometimes Donna will lift her head to inspect the passing human and get a kick on the head by the human who is stepping over Donna. = = Please no kicking, Donna will become stupid like Morty.

Now and then, but not very often, Donna does the funky chicken to amuse the human. You got to leave them hanging and not do it all the time or it stops being such a novelty.

Donna is not allowed on the forbidden sofa, unless it is raining. But as you can see, sometimes Donna gets away with doing something unexpected and cute… like resting Donna’s sad little face on the sofa anyway.

[

Otherwise Donna is generally curled around that corner of the sofa because Donna can easily monitor the room doors, the kitchen entrance, the front door and activity from the sofa from this one vantage point. Donna is smart at surveillance ^ ^

But when the humans decide to leave home without Donna, Donna sometimes retreat to the sulky corner under the coffee table.

But nowadays, Donna is mostly too preoccupied with Donna’s yummy food left in the crate to care that the humans are leaving the house without Donna.

Besides the crate, Donna has another big bed by the master bedroom, where Donna can keep up the spying, whether the humans are in the bedroom or the study.

Here, Donna also has access to her toilet.

And that’s all for the indoor areas. Donna sometimes gets to go on the balcony, but not very often since there is dusty construction work going on outside and the humans seldom linger there nowadays.

All in all, Donna has quite a cushy life… although Donna has to say it takes hard work to be a good dog.

Donna just wishes the humans decrease the shenanigans that they think are funny, which obviously are NOT funny at all.

And then it will be quite perfect.

Hi Donna — I love you showing us where you live (indoors, anyway!). You are a beautiful girl with such a soulful face and eyes. We would love to meet you outdoors at some park, anytime! Cindy and Midge

  4. Donna sure has a nice home!

    • We only showed you the ok parts of it… there are parts where it is in a mess… and its not even a big flat :P

  5. Awesome tour Donna! Indeed it’s a happy dog’s life *sigh* :)

  6. That was fun!

  7. Stone is a dilemma-be cool or be soft? It depends–both win some of the time.

    • Must be why sometimes her head is on the floor why the rest of the body is on the bed… her brain must have been overheating. :P

  8. What a great tour and home! You is a lucky pup Donna.

  9. Love love love the shot of her looking into the camera!!

    Fab post

    Thank you

    • There’s just something that pulls at you when her eyes are staring straight at you :) I think it happens with all dogs :)

  10. Thanks for the inside “scoop” on your home Donna. :) You have a beautiful place to rest your head!

    • Yes, on the nice cool floor usually conditioned with Donna drool :P heehee… it’s a dog-cave… pad… nest… whatever you call it!

  11. Thanks for inviting us to your home, Donna! It is lovely – and so are you :)

  12. Thanks for the tour, Donna. Nice place, I love how bright it is! It looks like you’ve got it pretty good too, in spite of the human shenanigans. :)

  13. Sounds like a nice place to live. I think my dogs would be slipping all over that floor, though. We have wood floors in the kitchen and halls and Maya & Pierson slip on them frequently, especially when they get a little too rowdy.

  14. Love the photo of the way Donna was sleeping. Dogs can put themselves in the strangest positions that would leave us humans in need of a chiropractor. ;)

  15. Ooohhh I love home tours! And being escorted by Donna was great. But I cracked up at the “Yu no sleep properly” photo! My crazy dog does that too, so maybe she also has an overheated brain. Love all the light coming through the living room windows. Now that must make it easier to get all those great photos!
